Pre-service (Practicum and Student Teaching) teachers from Salve, URI, RIC, RWU, PC, Brown, and Johnson and Wales, and RISD are invited to attend this conference, which may be used as evidence of meeting RI Professional Teaching Standards #10 and #11. Pre service teachers will receive a professional development credit report that will serve as portfolio evidence for an exit licensure portfolio. They will have the opportunity to network with members of a professional organization.
In addition, each participant will receive a complimentary student member -ship to RIASCD, "the organization for excellence in teaching and learning," and a teacher "survival kit."
