Fifth Annual Pre-Service Conference from RIASCD

Neither the wind, snow, or cold could keep a sold-out crowd of our young educators and seasoned veterens from collaborating at Johnson and Wales University on Saturday, March 1st. The group that convened at the Harborside Campus enriched the experience through breakout sessions and faculty and student conversations that developed understanding and enhanced the growth of our upcoming educators. We were very pleased to have so many wonderful students and faculty participate and we hope to continue the conversations we started that morning.

In the highlight to the right, we have included preview thumbnails of several speaker's presentations from the Pre-Service Conference. The contributors have graciously shared their work here and we appreciate their continued support of the RIASCD. Additionally, we are anxious to hear your feedback and learn more about how we can support you and your education. We also would like to hear from our presenters and have them share what they learned from the experience. Therefore, we will be piloting our new blog, RIASCD Lantern, to provide a forum for discussion. Please take a moment to reflect on the experience and we look forward to hearing from you!
